She has extensive training and experience in cosmetic laser surgery, tumescent liposuction, blepharoplasty, as well as dermatologic surgery and dermatology. She was Chief Resident of Dermatology at Mt. Sinai Skin and Cancer Center in Miami Beach, Florida and has lectured extensively in many areas of cosmetic surgery including Obagi Blue Peels, Liposuction, and Permanent-Make-Up. She is a member of many prestigious plastic surgery and dermatological societies.
Dr. Steinberg is one of a few dermatologists who are both Board Certified in Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

Professional Biography:
Dr. Janee D. Steinberg was born in Brooklyn, New York, but grew up in Chevy Chase, Maryland. At an early age, she decided to study medicine and attended University of Maryland Undergraduate and Medical School, completing the entire program in 7 years. She was the outstanding Sophomore Woman at University of Maryland.
After spending her Internship and part of her Dermatology Residency training in Florida, Dr. Steinberg decided to start private practice in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. With over 20 years of experience and dedicated service in Dermatology and cosmetic surgery, she decided to mastermind and build an incredible facility committed to providing superior techniques and services in surgery.
After the grand opening in August, 1998, this facility has become one of the most prestigious cosmetic surgery centers of its kind. Services include laser resurfacing, laser tattoo and pigment removal, laser hair removal, laser spider vein removal, facial plastic surgery including no-stitch eyelid lifts and endoscopic brow lift, tumescent liposuction, tummy tucks (complete abdominal contouring), and breast enlargement, reduction, and lifting. Aesthetician's services include electrolysis, microdermabrasion, permanent make-up, peels, masks, and massages as well as a full line of skincare products including Obagi Nu-Derm. The Advanced Cosmetic Laser Center's services are so comprehensive that it is known as "One-Stop-Shopping for the Millennium".
