A complimentary consultation for cosmetic procedures is offered to all patients interested in cosmetic surgery. This consultation is an extensive visit, which is designed to answer all of your questions and leave you with a good understanding of the procedure you are considering. The initial research can be done on the computer or telephone but nothing substitutes for the time spent talking with the doctor and support staff in person. During this visit, the doctor and/or medical practitioner evaluates you medically to see if you are a good candidate for the procedure you desire, and assesses your expectations to see if they are realistic. All treatments options are explained. Patients are welcome to view before and after photographs of patients.
During this visit, you are welcome to take a tour of our facility, which is an architectural masterpiece. Our state-of-the-art operating rooms are accredited by AAAHC, which holds one of the highest standards for patient safety of any accrediting, board in the country. This organization performs a comprehensive inspection of the entire facility, including equipment, credentials of physicians and employees, and patient records. We have continually passed with flying colors! Our certificate of accreditations is proudly displayed at our facility.
Our Board Certified Anesthesiologists provide our patients with twilight sedation or general anesthesia. In fact, our equipment is just like that in a hospital operating room with back-up power in case of a power outage.

Payment Options, Fees & Insurance
You'll find that our fees are very reasonable, comparable with other facilities in South Florida. Contact our office staff to discuss your specific questions.
Billing and Insurance
For your convenience, we accept personal checks, cash and most major credit cards. We offer several options for financing your surgery as well. At the consultation, you will have a written copy of the estimated fee for your procedure, anesthesia, and any other expenses. Should you have questions related to our fees or your bill, please feel free to speak to our billing supervisor.
Private Insurance
Please bring your insurance card and present it at your first visit. Detailed information will be provided to you regarding our "Financial Policy." You may want to call your insurance company regarding coverage guidelines. Currently, we are insurance providers for Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, National Health Providers, Integrated Health Plans (IHP) Health Payors Organization (HPO), Humana Choice Medicare and Medicare. We do not belong to any HMOs outside of the described insurances since the nature of our work in Cosmetic Dermatology is usually not covered by insurance.
Office Visits
The initial consultation is free if it is for a “cosmetic evaluation”. Payment for Initial medical office visits, follow-up medical visits, lab tests, and surgery is required at the time of service. You will receive a statement, which explains the fees for each service performed which you may submit to your insurance company. Whenever indicated, we will assist you in collecting reimbursement from your insurance company.
Medicare
Our dermatologist, plastic surgeon, and anesthesiologist participate in the Medicare program. When treatment is medically necessary, we accept Medicare assignment.
